Featured News PRRD Holiday Closures
The noted Peace River Regional District offices will be closed on the following days:

Monday, December 22, 2025: Fort St. John Office Closed

Thursday, December 25, 2025: Both Offices Closed (Christmas)

Friday, December 26, 2025: Both Offices Closed (Boxing Day)

Monday, December 29, 2025: Fort St. John Office Closed

Thursday, January 1, 2026: Both Offices Closed (New Year's)

The Charlie Lake trucked waste facility, PRRD landfills and transfer stations are all closed on December 25 (Christmas) and January 1 (New Year's Day).

Pink Mountain, Goodlow and Cecil Lake Transfer Stations Temporarily Closed December 19

Pink Mountain, Goodlow and Cecil Lake Transfer Stations are temporarily closed on Friday, December 19, 2025, due to staffing shortages.

The transfer stations will reopen for regular service on Saturday, December 20, 2025, unless otherwise posted.

2026 Board and Committee Meeting Schedule
The Regional Board has approved the 2026 Peace River Regional District Board and Committee Meeting schedule. The Regional District holds one to two Board meetings each month, held on Thursdays starting at 10am (MST) unless otherwise noted.
